Long before ballroom dancing became a hit on prime-time television, the Fung family of Laguna Hills had turned off their televisions and made dancing their primary activity.
Parents Anthony and Jeannie became avid social dancers about 22 years ago.
Their four children started dancing lessons before they were teenagers and took to it with a fervor usually reserved for sports. Soon, they were competing and winning national and international amateur ballroom dance awards.
